Welcoming the second Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18th 2015), as an enterprise operating in the field of science and technology, VinaCert wants to promote the spirit of science and technology and help its staffs to perceive the importance of science and technology in every aspects of life. The seminar was also an opportunity for the entire company to gather together and to frankly share their thoughts in the working process, This is also a chance for the youth to listen to and be inspired by the passion for science and technology of the experienced predecessors.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Tran is one of the great contributors to the development of Directorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality of Vietnam in particular and the whole industry of Standards, Metrology and Quality in general. He contributed significantly in establishing the legal documents in the field of science and technology; in which many remain valid until today.
At the seminar, Mr. Pham Ngoc Tran had a conversation with VinaCert staffs about his stories when working for a science and technology enterprise. He shared his life stories, profession stories, and memories of the days of doing science. Though already retired, he keeps a certain interest in the science and technology industry of Vietnam. His burning passion for science seems still intense. He proactively talked to VinaCert staffs from the most senior one to the youngest one; And he said VinaCert had brought a meaningful task, a dynamic scientific environment that created favorable condition for the development of each individuals.

Asking for his own view, on how he found enjoyment when doing science and technology at VinaCert, Mr. Pham Ngoc Tran shared that to him, VinaCert is pursuing an extremely significant field. Conformity assessment brings benefit for businesses, for the country, and for national economic development in the integration context. Contributing to this organization, he feels his job had a significant meaning. Besides, in his opinion, VinaCert is an environment worth working for and contributing to because of its dynamism, regulations and best-effort demand; And, it is an environment of culture, democracy and creativity.
He believes that, in the near future, with the determination of the company’s Board of Directors, and the synergy among staffs, especially the passionate and enthusiastic young people, VinaCert will become a leading business in the field of conformity assessment in Vietnam, in the region and in the world.
Attending the seminar, Sc.D. Phan Xuan Dung- Member of Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Chairman of Congress’ Committee of Science, Technology and Environment – brought lovely flowers and shared some words on the anniversary of Vietnam Science and Technology Day. “Science and Technology Day is an extremely meaningful day. The role of science and technology is exceedingly important; science and technology potential, especially talented people will determine the national status.” He said.

“Although VinaCert was established not long ago, but it had admirable achievements. Efforts of every VinaCert staffs have created a unique brand. I congratulate VinaCert for its achieved successes in the recent years.” Mr. Dung said.
Dr. Pham Van Tan – Vice President, Secretary of Vietnam Union of Science Technology Associations (VUSTA) – expressed his delight and excitement to attend this meaningful seminar as a representative of VUSTA and witnessing the achievements of VinaCert. He said “VinaCert’s operation will contribute to push the overall development of national science technology”.

MSc. Chu Quoc Lap – Former Deputy director of Agency of Food Safety, Ministry of Health – is a predecessor who is deeply experienced in science technology activity. Attending this seminar, he expressed his feelings and shared his opinions in this special event. According to him, VinaCert staffs are smart, hardworking and enthusiastic. In the context of ongoing development of science technology, with the youth and dynamism, VinaCert staffs have mastered technology so they have sufficient capability to do their job. Another important factor that he mentioned was company leaders. More than anyone, the leaders quickly update the information of science technology in the world to give proper orientation for further development of VinaCert.

The seminar took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere with valuable exchange and sharing from scientists, predecessors in the field of science technology. Thereby, VinaCert’s youth could learn, acquire and strengthen the belief in a bright future, thanks to science technology. The predecessors and elders have built a foundation by their heart; So the mission of the young generation is how to reserve, update and constantly develop further the progress of science technology, contributing to promote national status. In addition, they must have a specific identification for the content of science and technology in each of their activities.
