VASEP is a voluntary organization of businesses operating in seafood production and export activities of Vietnam. It aims to cooperate, connect businesses’ activities, to help each other to increase value, quality and competitiveness of Vietnamese seafood products, develop raw materials source for producing and exporting seafood, represent and protect legitimate interest of its members.
Until now, exports of seafood from VASEP members account for 80% of total seafood export turnover of Vietnam. We can say that VASEP is still the prop for seafood businesses. Being a VASEP member, VinaCert will have opportunities to contribute to the seafood producing and exporting industry.
With the strength in the field of certification, VinaCert will accompany the seafood businesses to create sustainable development for qualified seafood products along with reducing negative impact to environment, and ensuring social benefits.
