The JAS-ANZ audit session had two phrases including witnessing the competence of VinaCert auditors in field work and assessing the quality management system applied for VinaCert’s office (Hanoi Headquarter).
For witnessing the competence of VinaCert auditors, the JAS-ANZ audit team planned 3 sessions as followed:

- On the 22nd August 2015, based on the requirements of ISO17065:2015. JAS-ANZ audit team accompanied VinaCert auditors to witness the audit session at VIC Company.
- On the 26th and 27th August 2015, by the requirement of ISO/TS 22003:2007, two JAS-ANZ technical experts, Mr Bisweswar Bhattacharijee and Ms Sona Sharma witnessed the competence of VinaCert auditors in assessing food safety management at Lothamilk JSC, Dong Nai.

- Base on the requirement of ISO/IEC 17021:2011 and ISO/IEC 17021-3:2003, JAS-ANZ, leaded by Mr Bisweswar Bhattacharjee witnessed VinaCert auditors working at Son Viet Company.
At the field work, JAS-ANZ witnessed closely the audit activities of VinaCert auditors, plus giving questions directly to VinaCert auditors and auditee representative about relevant matters. At the closing meeting, Mr Alber Veltkamp commented “Despite of some non-conformity, but in general, compared to auditors from other conformity assessment bodies in Vietnam that recently audited by JAS-ANZ, VinaCert auditors have much more competence, experience and professionalism…” In order to complete and develop the audit activities, Mr Albert Veltkamp also asked VinaCert to make corrective actions.
For assessing the quality management system of VinaCert, during the 24th and 25th, JAS-ANZ audit team processed the audit at VinaCert headquarter in Hanoi.

Speaking at the audit session, Mr Albert Veltkamp appreciated VinaCert spending time to work with JAS-ANZ, and announced the audit plan, and its content which is focused on ISO/IEC 17065:2012, ISO/IEC 17021:2011, ISO/IEC TS 17021-3:2013, ISO/TS 22003:2007 for an organization working in the certification field.
After the opening meeting, JAS-ANZ auditors started to review the system of documents and records in order to assess the commitment of VinaCert to the standards. JAS-ANZ auditors respectively pointed out some findings based on these standards and asked VinaCert to discuss, explain and defense before making final judgment.
Speaking at the end of the audit session, on behalf of JAS-ANZ audit team, Mr Albert Veltkamp highly appreciated the cooperation of VinaCert, and the competence of VinaCert auditors at the field works. Besides, he stated preliminary result that VinaCert quality management system had been created relatively adequate, meeting the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021:2011. ISO/IEC TS 17021-3:2013, ISO/IEC 17065:2012, ISO/TS 22003:2007.
Before that, since on the 26th of February 2015, VinaCert is one of the only two organizations in Vietnam accredited by JAS-ANZ to be adequately competent according to International Standards: ISO/IEC 17021:2011; ISO/IEC 17065:2012; ISO/TS 22003:2007 for certification activities.
