Vietnam Int'l Milk & Dairy Products Exhibition – VIETNAM DAIRY 2017 had 200 booths with 100 organizations from USA, New Zealand, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, France, Russia, Japan, Korea, China and Vietnam. Many familiar brands to Vietnamese consumers participated in the exhibition, such as Vinamilk, Mead Johnson, Nestle, Tetra Pak, NutriCare, VitaDairy, Moc Chau, Ba Vi, IDP, Hanoi Milk, Kido, Elovi, Fonterra, Abbott, Yakult, New Viet Dairy and De Laval.

There were various products exhibited here, including milk and dairy products, additives used in dairy production, pasteurization technology, processing and packaging line, machinery and equipment for dairy cow farming, animal feed and veterinary medicine, dairy cow breeds, environmental treatment technology in dairy cow farming, certification for food safety and quality management system, etc.
According to Mr. Tran Quang Trung, Chairman of Vietnam Dairy Association, the Vietnam Int'l Milk & Dairy Products Exhibition – VIETNAM DAIRY 2017 is an important trading promotion activity, which is a connection between domestics businesses and foreign enterprises for meeting, discussion, market expansion, creating investment opportunity and co-operation to increase competitiveness. Thus, the exhibition aims to a sustainable development of Vietnam dairy industry.
This was the very first international exhibition of milk and dairy products that was held in Vietnam. The exhibition was coincided with two major celebrations in the world which were the Universal Children’s Day (1st June) and the World Milk Day (1st June). Therefore, this event had a special meaning for both dairy enterprises and consumers in Vietnam.
VinaCert’s booth always drew the enterprises’ attention
As a science technology services provider for stakeholders, VinaCert’s booth focused on exhibiting the organization’s competence in providing certification services for quality management system under many international standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 14001. Moreover, VinaCert is designated by state management agencies to conduct VietGAP certification in dairy cow farming, certification of conformity for food products and dairy cow’s feed, and quality testing for milk and dairy products under the corresponding standard.

There are various benefits for partners and customers when using VinaCert’s services, as the organization’s competence has been recognized through international accreditation, including ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 for providing audit and certification of management systems, ISO/IEC 17065:2012 for providing conformity assessment, ISO/TS 22003:2013 for providing audit and certification of food safety management systems, ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

With the advantage of an organization providing audit and certification of management systems as well as conducting quality testing and the reputation for 10 years, VinaCert’s booth often captured the attention of exhibitors, dairy cattle farmers, animal feed suppliers, milk and dairy products manufactures as well as exhibition visitors.
At the exhibition, there were also three seminars, which are “Pasteurization technology in milk processing – The future of Vietnam dairy industry ahead of the new trend”, “Milk, dairy products and public health” and “High technology application in dairy cow farming”. At the same time, the World Milk Day Celebration and International Children’s Day Celebration organized lots of activities, including happy farm games, making and baking products from milks, products giveaway, nutrition and health care consultation, financial support for dairy companies.
