This article is completed on the anniversary of 7 years of establishment and development, with the aim to summarize some achievements, then through that provide a foundation to assess current competency, prepare resources and orient the objectives in the future.

1. Reach to international level in the field of certification and testing by applying for accreditation to International Accreditation organizations:

2014 is a decisive pivotal year in the process of international integration of Vietnam, marked by the participation in the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) and the establishment of the ASEAN Community in 2015. With the integration process mentioned above, there will be many changes in the commodity trading activities domestically and for export: tariff barriers in import-export activities will be removed, instead technical barriers (TBT, SPS) will be established. Therefore, in the following years, goods manufacturing businesses of Vietnam, besides the advantage of import and export duties, will encounter many difficulties to overcome technical barriers. The technical barriers are more stringent requirements for quality and safety of products, as well as new standards and regulations on food safety, good agricultural practices, good manufacturing practice, environmental protection, ecological conservation, biodiversity ... by the state management agencies of Vietnam and importing countries to establish domestic product protection.

Foreseeing this trend, VinaCert has made important moves to improve its competency and direct itself to reach an international level of operation and brand to meet the increasingly stringent requirements to certification – testing activities for domestic goods and imported goods quality by registering to accreditation of international accreditation organizations. Vinacert was assessed by these accreditation organizations and is doing corrective actions to complete the assessment and become fully accredited.

Aiming for international accreditation, VinaCert wants to standardize its certification and testing competency via being assessed by reputable, professional and objective international accreditation organizations of the United States, Australia, New Zealand. At the same time, customers of VinaCert will be benefited and have advantage when exporting goods to imported markets by certificates with international accreditation mark. 

2. Domestic activities reach to a new level by investing, raising resources and standardizing human resources.

 To enhance the domestic operational competency, VinaCert has continuously invested, upgraded facilities, equipments, specialized organizational structure and standardized human resources, in particular: 

- Set up representative offices and branches in 05 cities that are directly controlled by the Central Government:

 - Establish specialized units to decentralize and specialize by sector, focus resources on research and develop new areas:

- Standardize human resources:

 VinaCert offers a proactive, innovative work environment with salary and bonus policies encouraging employees to actively develop their abilities to create strong human resources for the company. Currently the total number of staffs working in VinaCert is 120 people.

Through 07 years of development, Vinacert has become a strong and professional conformity certification organization with a wide range of fields of activities, advanced facilities and equipments and young, enthusiastic, formally trained workforce. Current resources along with the development direction in the future will be a solid foundation for VinaCert to become a leading certification organization in Vietnam, with brand and reputation recognized domestically and internationally. VinaCert will always be with customers to provide professional, quality, reputed certification, testing and inspection services to help customers meet the requirements on quality and safety of domestic and international technical regulations.
