There were 34 participants attending the course: laboratory measure technicians, managers, quality staffs and technical staffs related to the field of testing. Candidates were from organizations/enterprises: VinaCert, Vietnam Accreditation Joint Stock Company (AoV), Regional Animal Health Office No 1, Regional Animal Health Office No 2, Regional Animal Health Office No 3, Regional Animal Health Office No 4.
The course provided attendant with basic knowledge of statistics, sampling techniques, probability distributions, statistical estimation; overview of the measurement uncertainty: concepts, definitions and cost of uncertainty, the importance of measurement uncertainty in calibration of measuring equipment to enhance the capacity of the laboratory in accrodance with ISO / IEC 17025 standard, the uncertainty in conformity assessment, calculation of measurement uncertainty... Provided knowledge will be invaluable for the lab technicians, administrators, quality personnel in calibration of measurement equipment.
