Currently, VinaCert is allowed for ASC assessment of aquaculture in fields: pangasius/basa and tilapia. After finishing organizations of ASC standards for shrimp farming, VinaCert will be allowed to assess the scope.
Thus, up to this point, VinaCert is the first and only certification body permitted to assess the suitability of three international standards for aquaculture and seafood processing (ASC, MSC CoC, Global GAP). This confirms the vision and its excellence capacity in the field Quality Standards, distributing deliver Vietnam seafood industry joining to the world market during integration period to the WTO.
